No Emotional Baggage

If you have been hurt in the past, whether in your upbringing or a previous relationship, you must learn to leave all that emotional baggage behind. Give your heart completely and unconditionally to your new love. Each relationship should have a completely fresh and trusting beginning – a clean slate so to speak. Never attribute bad motives to your new partner’s actions. You must forget your old wounds and not be preoccupied by subconscious fears and trust issues from your past. Through deliberate reflection and self-examination you must become consciously aware of any baggage that potentially can destroy your new relationship. If you don’t understand your own emotional baggage, your partner's baggage, and the triggers that so often bring these pains to the surface then you are at the mercy of these subconscious feelings. Do not let old emotional baggage from previous situations ruin your current relationship. Start fresh and be mentally aware to leave the past where it belongs.
